Social Worker Grand Rounds
Michigan Center for Rural Health is an approved provider for the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative. The “Social Work Grand Rounds” are no-cost professional development webinars that provide continuing education credits for social workers. The webinars are typically offered from 12-1 p.m. EST on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
Register, attend the webinar, complete an evaluation, and receive your certificate for continuing education!

School of social work continuing education programming.
Michigan State University School of Social Work Continuing Education Program provides relevant and accessible professional development and training guided by the social justice and positive change mission of our school. In 2021 we provided non-credit continuing education to 3,357 social work and human service professionals. We offered 90 courses totaling 542 continuing education hours. We engaged with 84 non-credit course instructors to facilitate our courses and workshops. 85% of these workshops were offered in a live, virtual format via zoom and 15% were self-paced online courses via the D2L platform.
